I almost couldn’t put this book down. Part of the fascination was that it all occurred somewhere around where I live in Cincinnati. But when I looked up Galesburg, I couldn’t find it on any maps and then read that the author had change the names. The title is misleading. The book has very little to do with her spending time at her friend’s family funeral home. But that didn’t matter. Her story was compelling and I really like the way the author writes. I hope I can find more by her.
