This is a book that started off somewhat slow and also somewhat confusing. I did not know what to make of it in the beginning, but…
If any book can be said to have an abundance of plot thickening, this one certainly does. In the beginning, I read a chapter, or sometimes a partial chapter before setting the book aside in order to think over what I had just read and to make some sort of sense of the plot. Later in the book, I had much trouble in putting the book aside. It turned into a plot that kept me up into the wee hours of the night. This is a wonderful read.

I must add that I enjoyed the quotations sprinkled through the story. The title is the first one, but there are others that made me stop and attempt to remember the origins of those various quotes.
