Indonesia Etc.
1 journaler for this copy...
An account of the author's travels in Indonesia over about a year. The author had previously spent quite a few years in Indonesia, first as a journalist and then as an AIDS epidemiologist, and was fluent in Indonesian. She got well off the beaten track and visited almost all provinces of Indonesia.
I knew that Indonesia was a large, diverse country, but I didn't know that it has 13,000 islands and hundreds of languages and cultures. If you want an introduction to Indonesia, you could do much worse.
