This is an excellent book; I read it before its predecessor (The Butcher's Boy) and loved it. I enjoy all of Thomas Perry's books, but these two are my favorites. I bought this copy for my daughter, hoping to get her to read something other than Danielle Steele. Couldn't convince her to read it, so I'll set it free!
