A fairly interesting thriller, some parts were a bit too predictable but there were surprises too, so all in all it worked pretty well.

Thank you so much for this promising book... "No witness. No trace. No body"... This must be thrilling!
Thanks for the beautiful Moscow postcard and assorted tea-bags too... :)

Currently reading it. :)
This is a real page-turner, which I really enjoyed.
Rather unusual plot, with surprise after surprise, it kept me guessing until the end. Some giveaways along the way, like the appearance of Anna Glass (why are her shoes dry after walking through puddles and under the rain?), and the consecutive titles telling us how many days are left "before the truth". Wow, it is very difficult to comment this book without any spoilers!
A very good translation of the German original, by the way...
Some quotes:
"In certain situations, even the most rationally minded people behave in absurd and illogical ways. Nine times out of ten, a person in possession of a remote control will press the button harder if the battery runs low. But a nickel cadmium cell isn't like a lemon, and squeezing it firmly won't produce more juice." True.
From the Acknowledgments section:
"First and foremost, I'd like to thank you, the reader. Not because I have to, but because I think we share a certain solidarity. Reading and writing are solitary and intensely personal activities, and I'm honoured to be the recipient of the most valuable gift in the world: your time." Also true, and you are welcome!
Thanks for sharing this book, sedna5213; it took me some time to get to it, but it allowed me some very enjoyable evenings reading, and it will soon start travelling again... :)

Taken from "The Just a Word" bookring. As my TBR pile is massive it may take me a while to get to this.
