I got this hardcover (different cover than shown) at a local thrift shop. It opens with the discovery of a dead newborn baby near the campus of a prestigious university, and the arrival of a freelance journalist and former town resident to cover the story. But her own past includes the loss of a child, and she fears what this new story might do to her hard-won recovery - and there may be people in town who will go to great lengths to keep the truth from coming out...

I left this book in front of the Great North Restaurant at The Point while stopping by for dinner; hope someone enjoys it!
