Picked up to read and/or release.

This was a long story but had so many facets. Of course, there was romance but there also, was betrayal, stalking, abuse, assault, rape, kidnapping, murder, suicide, self-doubt, trust earned and tested. The focus of the book was on Nina, she's shy and hardly living her life anymore, feels it, and knows she needs to do something about it even as she's terrified. She meets Max quite by accident. Max never expected to find love again. But here she was and she was just what he needed. A feisty woman not anything like Anna the woman he lost, but she was amazing, and she made him happy. A very good read.
