It has been a few years since I read this, and in reading the reviews afterward, I obviously missed some of the events in the book. Have never seen the movie.

Finally had a chance to retrieve my mail from the post office, after returning from vacation. Thank you for tagging me.

This coming of age story was not for me. Although I liked the main character Charlie, I just felt the there were too many issues the author was trying to pack into 213 pages. I know teens have to deal with a lot of anxieties and pressure and if this book helps them, that’s great. I just find it hard to believe that Charlie would have endured all he did while hanging out with two of the coolest seniors at his high school.
