I got this trade paperback from an online seller. I've enjoyed Brown's stories for ages, and was pleased to see this collection of SF/fantasy/horror back in print.

Among my favorite tales here:

"Recessional," a short-short story with a nifty little twist (Brown is very fond of twists).

"The Geezenstacks" features a child's toy that has nightmarish aspects.

And all the funny shaggy-dog stories, including "Abominable". (While many of the jokes and twists in this collection may seem familiar now, it's because Brown's work influenced so many others...)

I left this book on a bench near the black-and-white mural honoring Hollywood films; hope someone enjoys it!
