Went a bit mad in my local charity shops recently. I want to set up a Little Free Library. So that’s where I’m hoping this book will end up, unless I trade it with a fellow BookCrosser before. I chose this book because it’s one of my favourite books. Here’s what I thought of after a reading in 2013
This is one of my favourite books, but I don't think I have read it in over 20 years! (Maybe not since primary school!) My brain must have been confused by the Disney and other filmed adaptations as there were many surprises for me during this read, many things I do to recall happening and things that I thought were in the story and aren't. Nevertheless I REALLY loved reading it again. It's funny, bizarre, unexpected and there are pictures! It has stood the test of time so well, I was very surprised to learn it was first published in 1865! A true Classic.
