Picked this up at a book store in Key West, Florida.
I've read other books by this author and I enjoy WWII fiction/novels - especially those that are based on true stories/situations - so I thought I'd give this a try.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. At some points I thought the outcomes and flow of the story were a little convenient and seemed a bit contrived, and I found a few typos the editor should have caught. But for the most part it was all very compelling and it was a fascinating look into a part of the war that we didn't hear much about. The characters were intriguing and I found myself wanting to read just one more chapter to find out what would happen.
I'll likely be recommending this to friends who enjoy this kind of reading.
