I am always on the lookout for inexpensive discard books for wild releasing. I found this book in a small library in BC on the discard shelf. I hadn't planned on reading this one but I am glad I did. This is book three of the Spice Shop mysteries with book four recently released. I enjoyed the small town characters with all the politics, gossip and mayhem that ensues and I immediately got the first two books in the series from the library to get my cozy fix. Gail Oust is a very good writer with an above average cozy mystery to enjoy.

Just finished my book in Riverhurst Saskatchewan. It was a cute cozy mystery. What bugged me was some editing errors and...******spoiler alert******that the killer kinda came out of the blue....

I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.

Picked , and WAY TOO MANY other books up at the March meet up at Cravings.

Fun read. Just what I needed as a break from the book I currently reading about the Polish Jews during the war. Piper and her ex mother-in-law do get themselves into some pickles that they finally find their way through.

Well, I have a nice stack to bring back to the June meetup at Cravings. Mind you, it is 2 months worth.

Book returned to me.
