I got this ex-library hardcover at a Goodwill thrift shop. The premise is interesting: in 1996, neighbors and best friends Josh and Emma mysteriously get access to Facebook on their computers - a Facebook that's 15 years in their future. The ability to see what their lives will be like has ramifications on their current-day decisions, with each change they make causing changes in that future scenario...
I didn't get drawn into the story, though I appreciated the emphasis on the drastic change in society since the dawn of the internet - but the idea reminded me of the tantalizing and poignant manga Orange, in which a group of friends find a way to write letters to their younger selves in hopes of encouraging them to save the life of a suicidal friend.
