Writer Vida Winter decides to tell her life's story to her biographer, Margaret who is very intrigued by Vida. I felt like there were too many plot twists in this book to keep up with. The book was very mysterious and eerie and I understood the Jane Eyre moodiness but some parts just dragged on for me.
I read this for PopSugar's 2019 prompt: A ghost story.
