Never got a book the day the day it was released before - exciting stuff. I’ve just read Me Before You, looking forward to continuing Louisa’s Journey.
I really enjoyed all the people Louisa Clarke met on her adventures in New York, and her new experiences. But what an epic series of highs and lows she had to live through in this book - as if she hadn’t been through enough in the last two books right? We are all made up of every experience we live through and without them we wouldn’t be who we are now. Lou had to learn the hard way or she would have never gotten on track. Ms Moyes has finally given me the satisfying conclusion for Lou that I have been craving.

Received in the post today as a RABCK from Shahrun (although I did in fact ask her to save it for me)! Thanks very much. I shall be reading this very soon as I can't wait to find out the third instalment of the story. I also have at least two other people who want to read it after me.

To the finder:-
Welcome to bookcrossing -you have found a travelling book. Please make a journal entry now to say where you found the book in case it has been moved. Then, when you have read it, please come back and make a further entry saying whether or not you enjoyed the book and why. It is now yours to do as you like with it, pass it to a friend or just leave it somewhere different for someone else to find and help it with its' journey. Of course if you can't bear to part with it at the moment then keep it, but please let me know that you have found it. If you join bookcrossing, which is free and spam-free, you can follow the book on its' travels as you will get an email each time it changes hands, but if you prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too. Please also say what you intend to do with the book next. Thanks for coming onto the site to let me know you have found the book.
I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.
When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.

REVIEW:-"I was rather disappointed with the start of this book as I thought that the conversation Louisa had with the US Security official was highly unlikely as I know from personal experience. I realise this was to bring the reader up to date with the "story so far" but it didn't work for me. However the book improved immensely from that point on and I really enjoyed the story although I thought the introduction of Eddy to Louisa's family on Christmas Day was unlikely too.
I laughed out loud when Louisa had too much to drink one night and, when in a taxi, asked her companion "Do you know I have two legs in two places?" to which he replied "Somehow that doesn't surprise me".
I loved how Louisa secretly made use of the Gopniks' WIFI and I'm sure that in her place I would have done the same (but no spoilers from me). I also liked the quote from an elderly lady who said "You know, when you get to my age, the pile of regrets becomes so huge it can obscure the view terribly". That really makes you think (when you get to my age).
All in all a very satisfactory third instalment in this story with some new and interesting characters."
I'm reserving the book for Emscott10 and also for my sister-in-law C when it is returned to me. Also would like to pass this book to my friend Lin who is currently reading the first books 📚 in the series.
