Well. That happened. That's about all I can say. Two teenage girls do a lot of talking without much substance. It's supposed to be funny but I missed the jokes. I don't actually fault the author for this - I think I'm just not the target audience, despite having been more or less the same age as the protagonists at the time the story is set. There was a bit of nostalgia - I recognized a lot of the attitudes from the 1990s - but by and large it just wasn't for me.

Caught at the BC in DC meetup. Placing in my Little Free Library. This was a quick read - sort of a strange story with alot of strange behavior even for teenagers. Then again, I had a really boring time in High School, didn't get involved in relationships, not that I didn't try.

I have to agree with melydia. Just not my thing. I gave up pretty early on. It felt pointless.
