After hearing so much about this I felt pretty let down when I got to the end of the book. Frazier paints a huge picture, the descriptions were wonderful but I felt let down by the way the story turned out. I struggled to continue in places and the only thing that kept me reading it was the hope that it had to improve. I really wanted to like this but sadly not.
Thank you Perfect-Circle for bringing this book to the Unconvention for me. I hope I enjoy this! It was lovely to meet you this weekend.

I tried, I really did! I wanted to prove everyone wrong and say "You don't get it" but sadly, neither did I! I love the movie, and hubby bought me a collectors' edition with another flipping book. So I WILL try again to love the poor Cold Mountain novel in the future! Planning on releasing for the Book Aid release. May it find someone who loves it!
Kindly donated by KathyS for a special project.
