A very quirky and heartwarming story of a 63 year old woman who rediscovers herself after heartache. Britt-Marie finds herself again after moving to Borg, a small dying town. Britt-Marie was introduced in “My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry” and this spin-off let's you see how Britt-Marie is able to shine and take back control of her life.

Thank you so much for sending this one. I really like Backman and since reading My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, I’ve been looking forward to this one. It might not last long on the shelves.
I love Backman’s writing but I have to say that this one won’t be making the list of my favorites. It was good but I don’t feel like it had the same stuff as Ove and My Grandmother Asked me to Tell You She’s Sorry. Still a solid book but I just didn’t love Britt-Marie like I loved Ove and Elsa.
