I got this manga at Barnes and Noble, tickled by the concept: the story of a bunch of street cats, drawn (mostly) as human tough guys... Alas, I found that I just couldn't get into the story, which felt more human-street-gang most of the time; indeed, the bits where the characters are shown behaving like cats (whether in human or cat form) were relatively few. (Not to say they weren't fun, though; big-tough-scarface character finds an empty cardboard box and just HAS to try to fit inside it!)

The artwork's good, both for the humans and the cats, but I didn't get into it enough to want to follow the series. Ah, well!

I misunderstood the cover. I thought it was a tough guy and his cat. lol

But the cat is the humaniod look of the cat, which is actually kind of funny. I thought it was an interesting line to follow and the cat rules and all of that. I can't say that it's the best thing I've ever read but I thing they did a fair job of keeping in mind the proclivities of felines. lol

I like the main guy as he takes a beating and seems non-plussed whether he wins or he doesn't. He seems to regard whatever happens to just be a part of his day and gives no real thought to it. He's a bit of train wreck.

I think I'd like to read further on this series. :)
