And the Mountains Echoed

And again Khaled Hosseini shows us his brilliant narrative skills. He makes the reader wonder constantly whether (ah, well, we know that they just have to meet...), how and when the siblings will meet again... and goes there passing a multitude of other stories, moving secondary characters to the centre while at the same time the main plot continues. I loved this shift of perspective, and the way he describes Afghanistan from many sides and viewpoints. This is great story telling.

Great book!
I absolutely love Khaled Hosseini books!
When I read the last sentence of the last page of K.H. books I always feel very sad because there's no more to read about the characters and the story. Though the characters remain with me for a long time after I read the last word of the book, I always feel an emptiness in my days...
I will love to share this great book so I am thinking of sending it as a bookring (so I can re.read it sometime)
