A young couple recently did The LOVE Dare and asked my husband and I to be marriage mentors. We've been married 31 years but have never been asked to be marriage mentors before. I bought this copy of The Love Dare so that I could read it and try to understand where this couple is and figure out how we can help.

WOW! I wish this book had been around back when I got married but I doubt that I would have been smart enough to read it back then. I think this book will make an excellent wedding gift and I'm going to try to remember that when I am struggling on what to buy. First thing that impressed me was when the authors talk about marriage (when 2 become 1) and how it is the closest thing that man has to the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). I also loved that they say that God gave you a wedding present on your wedding day-a prayer partner for life. But reading day 35 where it they talk about the importance of marriage mentors was extremely touching. Communication is key.
