8/9 Today I had made arrangements to visit a shut-in from church. I was feeling anxious because I really don't know her all that well. And today's devotion seemed to be written just for me. Words from today's devotion: "...Whatever God has inspired you to do--do it today...If God has specifically told you to bless someone, and you have intended to do it, remember that NOW is the acceptable time...."

Right around Thanksgiving, I started reading at least 2 per day so that I could finish up this devotion and get it to my devotional bookcrossing friend in time to start it for the new year if she likes. I pray that it blesses all future readers.

OH...THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH, Southernfryed...YOU...are a DEAR!!! : D Just getting a chance to open mail that has arrived the past few days. USPS Tracking says this arrived on Monday. I began reading it immediately (just finished reading Monday, Tuesday, and today's Devotionals, well...late tonight actually), and was immediately given just the perfect messages I needed to receive. I've seen this authors books on Christian Book Shelves, but I've yet to read one...THIS one...will be PERfect!!! : ) Like you, around Thanksgiving, I started reading two Devotionals a day in the beautiful "Jesus Always" Devotional you sent last year, so that I could send it to another BCer. Distracted by trying to get cards out in between all of the medical chaos going on, I promptly packed it up and misplaced it, in a box with several other BCer Friend things, including something for you. Needless to say, the packages will not arrive in time for opening on "Traditional" Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I haven't yet asked the BCer I had in mind for "Jesus Always" if she'd like it, and she hasn't commented on the previous one I sent as a surprise RABCK last year, so I wasn't certain if I'd send it as another surprise, choose someone else, or offer it in the RABCK Forum, as it doesn't seem as though anyone has it on their Wishlist. Let me know if you know of someone who would enjoy it. In the meantime..."Starting Your Day Right", is just what I'm going to do, as it's 12:19am, so I am going to read today's entry and then try to get a few hours sleep. HAHAHAHAHA!!! 12:19 on 12/19, which just so happens to be my Niece's Birthday. She is expecting her first little girl (to go with her two little boys) due on Valentine's Day, the birthday of her brother (my deceased Nephew), and the original due date of my deceased Son, who didn't arrive until the 24th. I just received an invitation to her Baby Sprinkle in January today. Never heard a baby shower called a sprinkle before!!! You gotta love the younger generations!!! ; )
