WILD RELEASE NOTES:

OK I have picked this up a few times as it’s been sitting on the window-sill bookshelf at Jeremia’s Taproom for a whole lot’o’months, did a bit of scoffing silently but then tonite [Sun 16] caught this quote in it and it brought me up short as it’s about one of the things I was thinking about recently, the transference of energy. Found this interesting...

“About Reincarnation…
…I like Einstein’s observation; ‘Energy can never be destroyed, it can only change form.’ I take this to mean that the energy that powers me up has got to go somewhere when this body is over with it.
…I don’t believe in reincarnation as a ladder to spiritual perfection, and I find the memories of present day people living exotic lives as Pharaohs…a bit bizarre. However, it makes sense to me that everything that has gone before exists within us and that we live on in the genes we pass onto our children. Perhaps consciousness is contained in our genes and that is how one could carry the memories of someone who has lived before.
…I don’t know exactly what happens when you die, although something does – energy is being shunted around the universe all the time. I’m comfortable with that. I don’t need to know what happens when I die to make this life worth living.” Pages 274/5
