"I don't read books" is an intriguing novella full of unexpected twists and turns. The book urges us to reconsider the motives and consequences of our actions, the nuanced relationship between teens and their parents, and our attemps to find the right answer to any question.

This story was prized with Janis Baltvilks prize in prose contest in 2007.

Not only for teenagers. Advisable for adults as well.

Book was not good or bad. The language and the whole story are more suitable for teenagers. It was quick read.

It's a pity that there is no English translation for second part for now.

Well, in my opinion this book is not really "advisable for adults", seemed a bit childish even for teenagers. And all the spelling errors were driving me crazy after a while! But it was great to get a Latvian book for my Country Reading Challenge, at the Finnish forum :)
