Bookcrossing: n. the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. - from the Concise Oxford English Dictionary
Bookcrossers are people who love to read and want to share their joy of reading with the world. We, as bookcrossers, purchase books and leave them somewhere "in the wild" for people to find.

What a cute book! I picked this up at a Little Free Library behind a church and I can't wait to share it. This is a large chapter book by a local author. It is also a sequel and the first book sounds interesting, too.
Story Description: Ashley Houchin's fantastic adventures continue in this sequel to "Ashley and the Mooncorn People." The story began in Kansas, when young Ashley found two tiny enchanted "Mooncorn People" buried in a Mason jar. Now the story becomes more intriguing when Iola Taylor, the 106-year old magical dollmaker shares her stories - and magic powers.
This would be so great released at our local arboretum when they decorate it with fairy villages each spring, but I think I will release it to another Little Free Library for other kids to enjoy.
