Mass Market Paperback.
I picked this up from a Little Free Library in my area. The cover looks like an Intermediate Reader, but the description sounds like it would be good for teens / young adult readers. I was super surprised to see that the copyright date is 1974! It's a post-apocalyptic setting, which is so popular right now in contemporary dystopian novels.
BOOK SUMMARY: Seemingly the only person left alive after a nuclear war, a sixteen-year-old girl is relieved to see a man arrive into her valley until she realizes that he is a tyrant and she must somehow escape.
