Santa, I Can Explain
11 journalers for this copy...
Wanted a Christmas book that wasn't a romance, so defaulted to the children's section. Found this gem.
A child is writing to Santa in a desperate attempt to get off the naughty list for a simple act that spiraled way out of control. The text is the contents of the letter, but the highly-detailed illustrations on each page are flash-backs to the actual events that triggered the need for the letter.

Looks cute. Even though it is short I think I will save till next Christmas
First Christmas book of the season! Cute!
I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing December meet-up. I thought it would be a good book to read with my niece.
I think my niece enjoyed this book; hard to tell with her sometimes. I know I liked it a lot. Such zany art to accompany a simple letter to Santa. I think it'd be a fun read even when it's not Christmas.
Passing on this book to the next reader at the Calgary BookCrossing January meet-up.
Picked up at the January meeting!
My daughter passed these off to me at Christmas.
I am releasing this into the Covid Book Box that is circulating.
Book Box 1 is back with me. I am removing a bunch of books as part of a clean up so am journaling everything so everything is accounted for and we know which box they end up in.
This book is being released into Book Box 1.
We may not be able to meet in person but our books can still unite us.

Returning to the group at the Calgary Bookcrossing meeting at Cravings today
A series of improbable events leading to a letter to Santa. I thought it was cute but the kid just liked turning the pages.
Picked up at the Dec. 2022 Book Crossing meeting
