Arrived safely, thank you! What a nice idea to send a book by a local author. There's nice serendipity at work, too, as I'm going to visit Minnesota for the first time this summer! I've been to the US many times, even spent a year in Virginia as a high school student, but the MN area is new to me. We have friends living there and have been planning a trip there for ages – and now it's finally going to happen. I definitely have to read this book before the trip :) Thanks again and happy new year!

Romance is not my usual genre, but this was a surprisingly good read! Slow paced, yes, and predictable, too, but I was nevertheless hooked. I enjoyed its small-town old-fashioned Americana setting and, being a (very) secular person living in a (very) secular society, was intrigued by the description of devout Catholicism. The characters were likeable, too. Thanks for sharing, Meekachu07!
