I got this slim hardcover from a local Goodwill thrift shop. It's an odd little book about a snail who suddenly is able to produce lace instead of its usual slimy trail, and who spends much of the day creating lovely lace items for every creature it encounters - until, just as quietly as the ability appeared, it vanishes... Rather a Zen little story, this!
