The Girl in the Spider's Web

I can't remember where I found this, but a nice surprise to catch up with Salander, Mikael Blomkvist and others from the Millennium series (new author, same complicated Scandi-noir plot?)
(22/11/18) This is obviously an approved extension to the original Millennium series - with a handy recap on the main characters - but you can see what a different author has done differently. There was less slow background build-up, more immediate and continuous action, and a wider cast of characters and locations (I'm not surprised its been filmed already). Really good to catch up with Blomquist, Salander et al again, and long may the legal continue!
Oh yes, this is a moderately complicated story involving Salander's tortured family history, a fascinating savant autistic boy, Swedish publishing politics (the least interested thread), Russian gangsters, American spooks, and quite a lot about cyber security and Artificial Intelligence :)
