Picked up at the meet up at the Knights Templar. Thank you!
I've not read this series but I think someone recommended it at one of the Unconventions.

The eponymous Bryant and May are two highly eccentric detectives who are the senior detectives in the Peculiar Crimes Unit, a leftover police division. They are called in when a baby is murdered and thrown out of the window at a party held by a theatre group. The circumstances are mysterious but the whole thing is somehow linked to Punch and Judy. In the mean time Bryant has had a ghostwriter to write his memoirs but has mistakenly allowed restricted material to remain in them. A clever plot and I would read more of this series.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Put into the Crime/Mystery Bookbox.
Taken from the crime/mystery bookbox
I've not read any Bryant and May books before but I will definitely read more in the future. I read 4 chapters and wasn't getting into it. The next day, I was poorly, and read another chapter and was going to give up but didn't want to get out of bed to get another book so I continued. From then on, I couldn't put it down and finished it the same day.
I'm putting this into the crime/mystery bookbox
Taken from the Crime/Mystery Book Box, as my TBR pile is massive it may take me a while to get to this.
