Found an amazing little independent bookshop in Jericho, Oxford. I read Cold Comfort Farm back in 2011 so treated myself to this Christmas reading sequel!
I know I should be appreciating the messages that Gibbons is trying to convey from her short stories but I found this all rather twee. Had I known this was a collection of short stories I'd have left it in the lovely book shop we'd found and chosen something else!
Never been a fan of short stories and this has reinforced that view - lets hope my 2019 reading choices improve from here!!
