Fascinating narratives about the gypsy or Roma culture, mainly in Europe but including the U.S. Explanations of the probable origin of these people in India. Sad descriptions of the Nazi killings of gypsies, as well as more modern-day depredations. For anyone who travels to Europe, this should add to understanding (and sympathy) with the Gypsies one encounters.
