Today my husband and I needed to go to our neighbouring city, Guelph, and we stumbled upon a HUGE book sale while we were there! This is one of the books we brought home.

I don't really know much of anything about this book, but I needed to make a couple of snap decisions and this was one of them. I like to read and share Canadian literature and as this was an Orca book so I figured it would be a Canadian author; also, it looked like it would have been part of the same set or whatever as another Canadian book that I read and bookcrossed in 2017, so I picked it up. I'll journal again after reading.

ETA: It seems that this is the first copy of this book registered on bookcrossing! It's always kind of cool when that happens :)

I finished reading this book last night. It wasn't my favourite, but I didn't entirely hate it. This is the first Addison Addley book I've read and I found the character of Addison to be rather grating, which is difficult as he is the book's narrator.

As of right now, I'm not sure where this book will go next. I plan to move it on but I'm have not yet decided when, where, or how that will be done.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I released this book in Mississauga this evening, on the last night of the Great Backyard Bird Count Release Challenge. I put it in a bag to protect it from the elements and left it with the Migration sculpture (the one where the birds are making an arc).

If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome. We'd love it if you'd stick around with us a while. I really hope that you enjoy both this book and the whole bookcrossing experience!

You can check out the bird count itself here: https://www.birdcount.org/
