Stratford Ontario just announced next year's plays, and this one is on it, so I figured I'd read and release this one. I got this copy at the 2007 University Colege (University of Toronto) book sale at the $10/box sale.

Released 4 yrs ago (10/26/2019 UTC) at Little Free Library at 187 Birmingham St. in Stratford, Ontario Canada

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left this in the Little Free Library #57385 at 187 Birmingham St. Stole a copy of Postcards Talk by Linda Granfield.

Considered leaving it in The Livery Yard, where I had an impressive s'mores affogato, but thought I'd give back to the LFLs.

The staging of this play at the festival was excellent, although the play itself isn't one of Shakespeare's best. The story is hard to take if you know anything about the histoy (I recommend Starkey's book Six Wives, and the director used the Allison Weir book on the subject, also Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall for fiction). But the actors were very good, and brought the characters to life, and made Henry a bit more ambiguous. Also, the costumes were beautiful. (The commentary mentions that pomp was a part of many productions.) Anyway, read, and we'll discuss! Then pass it along.
