Yes, this is a mystery/thriller ("part bromance" according to the back cover blurb) starring "Uncle Joe" Biden and Barack Obama. It is set in Delaware, my home state, and I'm tickled at the prospect of reading it!

I saw this book on someone else's feed and in the blurb read that it was based in my and Biden's home state of Delaware, so of course I had to read it. Turns out the Delaware tie-in wasn't all that gripping. Nor was the mystery. I found the dialogue amusing at first and then quickly began to feel it was unnecessary 'filler'. The book was longer than it needed to be and the 'lost bromance' angst between Biden and Obama trotted out too often. As was the 'Biden is old and keeps hurting himself' bits. Or maybe not 'too often', but not subtly enough? I'm not sure.
Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe I'm just an old grump. I rate this book meh.
