For me, cozy mysteries are a NMCOT (Not My Cup Of Tea). I did read this, only last week, and now as I pick it up I can't remember a single character or plot point. However, I do somewhat like the cozies that include recipes, and the one for tea scones looks especially tasty.

The reason I picked this out was how appropriate the name is for the Guy Fawkes Day exchange, and how easy to accessorize with small gifts.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Mailed today to kiwiinengland for the annual Guy Fawkes exchange. From her profile I see that she likes mysteries, so I hope she'll enjoy this. Obviously, the tea goes with the book title. Since she likes dark chocolates (excellent judgment!), I feel sure she'll like the Dove candies, and I also included a few Salted Nut Roll candies as they're a local Minnesota product.

Happy Guy Fawkes Day!

Thank you so much for sending me this great themed Guy Fawkes parcel. Included with this book was gunpowder green tea pearls, dove dark chocolate (delightful!!) and peanut sweet rolls that I consumed immediately.

Your themed parcels are the best, and I thank you so much for allowing someone in the antipodes to participate in this exchange by agreeing to post internationally.

Thank you for sending this amazingly themed book for the guy fawlkes exchange.

I read three chapters and then had to stop. The authors writing style of having a large paragraph consisting of one sentence with, many, multiple, commas, made, this, a, story, I could, not , enjoy much.

The green tea that accompanied the book was delicious.
