Set in the early nineteenth century, Pharos is a dazzling ghost story from an award-winning author.
A young woman is washed up on the shores of Jacob's Rock, a remote lighthouse island off the coast of Scotland. She does not know who she is or how she got there. She has no memory. The keeper of the lighthouse and his assistant take her in and feed and clothe her. But this mysterious woman is not all that she seems, and neither is the remote and wind-swept island.

Thank you so much for sending me the book on my wish list. The book arrived more than two months ago, but I can only journal now when the note bearing its BCID arrived with all the other wonderful gifts. I love everything and I really appreciate that you took the trouble to send it again after it was returned.
I have already finished reading and it was quite a spooky read, very suitable for Halloween.

I'll copy-paste my comment:

Anyway, I really liked it! Once I started, I couldn't stop, because I was wondering what would happen next."
