I love Thomas Hardy as an author, and was pleasantly surprised to get this from a geocache in Cape Town. (It was not at an airport or similar, as noted.) I'v started to read it several times before, but found it too hard to read, this time, though, I've found his 'voice' and I love it. Hardy also wrote Tess of the Durbervilles, Far From the Madding Crowd, Jude the Obscure and a raft of poetry.
