A very nice read, both amusing and moving with an interesting story (well, perhaps a bit too much of the theatre stuff for my taste, but given the storyline it was certainly justified!)

I loved it. I can just see the kids -- their individuality, their curiosity, their innocence, their joy and energy -- and the author did a great job in bringing India to life. I think the worst thing is that the poverty described in the book probably has not improved much and it has been almost twenty years since the book was published.
Finally on its way to the next reader who has been tagged months ago in the tag game.
