Journal Entry 1 by wingNu-Kneeswing from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire United Kingdom on Saturday, September 22, 2018
This is one of three books I brought home from the red telephone box in Lindal-in-Furness, Cumbria when I swapped some books there on Tuesday while on a dancing holiday near Grange-over-Sands.
I don't normally add further books from a series until I've tried out the one I've got, which isn't the case here as I still have Betrayed in Cornwall hanging around among my many unread novels, but I was again drawn to the cover art and title proclaiming that it's set in the beautiful county of Cornwall. How could I resist?

Amazon Editorial Review: "Rose suspects a murder has been committed. In trying to help young, talented Joel, Rose uncovers family secrets. She is proved right; there is a murder, but not the one she had foreseen nor one which the family could possibly have anticipated."

A gentle tale of Cornish folk, including a very nosey artist/photographer, her policeman friend, and a family hiding a myriad of secrets . . . .

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left with the other bookswap books in a bookcase within the garden centre cafe. Please be prepared to make a donation towards Thirsk’s Christmas lights! Thank you!

Well over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 over twelve million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
