This is one of two books I bought at Hamilton's Tea Rooms, Aysgarth when we stopped for lunch recently. I did enjoy being surrounded by secondhand books while we ate!
I don't normally buy further books from a series until I've tried out the one I've got, which isn't the case here as I still have Betrayed in Cornwall hanging around among my many unread novels, but I was again drawn to the cover art and title proclaiming that it's set in the beautiful county of Cornwall. How could I resist?

Amazon Editorial Review: "When Rose Trevelyan sees a young girl being carried away by someone who appears to be her father, she thinks nothing of it. Until, that is, the appearance of a frantic mother who cannot find her child. Beth Jones is only four years old, and her mother is adamant that the man Rose saw taking her away must be a stranger.
Wracked with guilt for not intervening, Rose once again finds herself entangled in a criminal investigation. As time passes, it becomes clear that the chances of getting Beth back unharmed are very bleak indeed...."

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

While enjoying a delicious Burns Night Supper with dancing last night, I left a couple of books in their bookcase of secondhand books. Please be prepared to donate the princely sum of 50 pence to church/hall funds - Thank you!

Well over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 over twelve million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
