Larger Reality, A / Una realidad más amplia
3 journalers for this copy...
This is not an ordinary book: it's a BookCrossing book! BookCrossing books are world travelers - they like to have adventures and make new friends...and every once in a while they even write home to say what they've been doing.

Una realidad más amplia: Historias desde la periferia bicultural / A Larger Reality: Speculative Fiction from the Bicultural Margins

Bilingual fundraiser anthology for The Mexicanx Initiative on Kickstarter. Cover art by WorldCon 76 GoH John Picacio.
This was an enjoyable ride, and I may look into a couple of the authors further. (If their works have been translated into English, that is. My Spanish is less than minimal.)
I picked up one copy at WorldCon 76 in San Jose, but I actually ended up with two.
Here's the other one.

Thanks so much for the surprise book! I love that it includes both English and Spanish stories. Might release it to a local LFL, or save it for the upcoming SF bookbox. (Thanks for the origami bookmarks, too!)
Later: Some good stories here, of which my favorites include:
"Fences" by José Luis Zárate, especially pertinent given the current US administration's attitude towards the border with Mexico.
"A Truth Universally Acknowledged" by Julia Rios, about a friendship in peril due to alternate realities - which could be figurative or literal.
"The Binder" by Angela Lujan, a punny little tale with some retro twists. (This one made me realize how confusing the book's story-titles font is for me, though: the lowercase letter "r" is shaped almost like a pi sign, and looks more like an "n" in the text. That caught me several times!)
"Ring a Ring o' Roses" by Raquel Castro is a darkly funny short-short about a kindergartner describing her new pet zombie.
"Clean Air Will Smell Like Silver Apricots" by Andrea Chapela features an innovative mix of clean-air ecology and burial rites.
