I got this hardcover from the ongoing book sale at the Dunstable MA public library. It's an amusing - and sometimes scary - tale of a magical family whose kids sometimes struggle with ordinary childhood and teenaged issues. But when a suspicious-looking bunch of strangers comes to town for a convention - and begin to act a lot like wicked witches (the illustrations sort of give this away {wry grin}) - it's up to the kids to use their magic to fight them off.
