The Men and the Girls

My sister Jane got me reading Trollope's novels, and I enjoy them. So far, I've read "A Village Affair", "A Passionate Man", "Marrying the Mistress", "Friday Night Lights" and "The Rector's Wife". (My sister was a vicar's wife for many years.) From the back cover: "....a rare pleasure to find characters so likeable that one cares what becomes of them..." - Evening Standard

Please see the earlier notes. I forgot to mention, what I thought of this book. I found it a good read, with a surprising ending. Trollope is adept at creating and developing characters that are so believable.
