Chosen from the Little Free Library #28780 in Boones Mill, VA.

From Goodreads description:

Projecting a near-future United States in which justice is blind in at least one eye and the ranks of the disenchanted have swollen to dangerous levels, Mosely offers nine interconnected stories whose characters appear and reappear in each others' lives. For all its denizens, from technocrats to terrorists, celebs to crooks, "Futureland" is an all-American nightmare just waiting to happen.

This is not a bad book but neither is it a great book. For me, it’s just meh. I used to make myself finish a book regardless but as I get older I realize I won’t get to read all the books I want to read so why torture myself with one I’m not that into?

Finished 33%

Caught from the "To The Stars" traveling sci-fi bookbox. It's a collection of stories about an imminent future, just what I enjoy :)

This book has some good stories. I enjoyed Mosley's writing and really like the short story format.

Bookcrossing is the practice of leaving a book in a public place for someone else to "catch". Why? Cuz books just wanna have fun! Enjoy the serendipity and head over to the bookcrossing.com website to let me know you caught this book!

Bookcrossing is family-friendly and a great hobby 😀

This book is on my wishlist!

Removing from the apocalyptic bookbox to read and then probably put on my work's take-a-book-leave-a-book shelf or sending to another bookcrosser.
