Paul Beatty is an astonishing writer. So many of these sentences made me want to read them out loud to someone, though I certainly couldn't read most of this book out loud - I couldn't say a lot of the words. Yikes.

I literally just finished this novel and am blown away by the author's writing!! No wonder Paul Beatty won the Man Booker Prize for this novel.
