Funny, charming, curious, surreal, enchanting – and beautiful as an object. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this at the local library's recycling shelf.

Wow, what a great surprise! The most charming little book I've ever seen and the loveliest front cover ever :)
A really strange book with fascinating illustrations indeed, loved it! Murakami's imagination astonishes me again.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This book found the next reader from our local BC meet-up at Pella's Cafe.
I had to take this book at our meet-up just because of its name.
A strange story indeed, and quite sad in the end. Possibly this is again one of those books with some symbolism or hidden meaning and I just don't get it. I like the book as a whole, the way it looks and how it combines with the story.
Started reading right away
