I got this softcover from Better World Books. I've been entertained by this snarky version of a religion for some time, and wanted to read the, um, source document. Turns out that it's not quite as amusing as I'd hoped, though it has its points. Its humor is often deliberately silly, as when listing the sacred books of other faiths (the New Testicle?), and in general I think the "propaganda" and "swag" sections are more fun than the "blunders of science" segment. In "propaganda" there's a lovely bit about welcoming new believers, including "Try us for thirty days and if you don't like us, your God will most likely take you back." The "swag" section includes an example of a pro-noodly-appendage pamphlet and templates for your own pirate-fish-fossil graphic, among other things.

I left this book on the painted street-piano near the lovely black-and-white movie-mural, while visiting the farmers' market on Main Street. Hope the finder enjoys the book!
