I got this slim softcover at this Little Free Library in Stow MA while dropping off some books of my own. It's an alphabet book themed on extinct creatures, some from prehistory and others made extinct in our lifetimes (usually by destruction of habitat). It's informational and even occasionally humorous, as in "C is for Coelacanth", which turns out not to be extinct after all and therefore "shouldn't be in this book"!

I left this book in the Little Free Library on this rainy day; hope someone enjoys it!
